During the summer of 2023, I attended the ADIA Early Preparation Program at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. I met amazing like-minded students with the goal of becoming the best in the country and formed long-lasting relationships. I felt competition I’ve never felt before, helping me improve my skills as a learner and a person. We learnt about competition math, robotics, and writing our personal essay. While it isn’t much, it was a great experience for us to travel outside the country with the goal to learn.
It was one of the most amazing experiences, this gave me an opportunity to travel and study abroad. The beautiful location and environment showed me that there are other activities to do other than study. Although I’ve always viewed my future in my home country, this program helped clear my vision to the incredible opportunities and experiences life outside has.
